My Journey
About Me
Hello! My name is Ariana, and I want to warmly welcome you to this space. Thank you for being here. I am Costa Rican, born and raised in the city of San José, and for the last 10 years, I’ve dedicated my life to my spiritual path—a journey filled with diverse practices, teachings, and modalities that have shaped me into who I am today.
Although I grew up in the city, I’ve always felt a deep connection to nature, its cycles, plants, and artistic expression. At 23, I decided to follow my heart and move to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, where my spiritual journey truly began.
On the coast, I encountered yoga for the first time—a practice that opened the door to transformation. Through movement and breath, I discovered the tools to begin changing my life. Yoga also helped me find my voice, leading me to express myself through mantra and music. This newfound expression encouraged me to explore deeper layers of myself, including nutrition, conscious eating, and a more balanced lifestyle.
My path eventually led me to India, where I immersed myself in traditional massage techniques, deepened my yoga practice, and studied Reiki and energy work. These experiences further transformed my relationship with myself and the world around me.
Years later, through a Temazcal ceremony, I found answers I had been seeking for so long. That first sweat lodge introduced me to peyote, also known as Hikuri or the “blue deer,” in a traditional tipi ceremony. This profound connection marked the beginning of my journey with sacred plants, which helped me discover my talents in cooking, painting, singing, and reconnecting with the voice of my soul.
Over time, my path expanded to include ayahuasca, which revealed depths of my being I never knew existed. It also showed me the ability to serve and support the healing process of others. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked with various lineages and traditions, including Temazcal (Red Path), Tipi ceremonies, Wixárika (Huichol), Santo Daime, Huni Kuin, Yawanawá, and Peruvian-style ayahuasca ceremonies. I’ve traveled to sacred places such as the Wirikuta desert in Mexico, the enchanted Amazon rainforest in Brazil, and the Andes mountains in Peru.
Currently, I am studying under my teacher, Pajé Iba, and his father, Pajé Kupi—a highly respected elder in Brazil’s ayahuasca traditions. These teachings have deepened my connection to sacred plants, nature, and music. Through these ceremonies, I’ve embraced my talents in singing, playing various instruments, painting, and creating songs that honor the earth and her animals.
In my early experiences with sacred plants, I didn’t have guidance for integration. However, through song, artistic expression, and nature, I learned to ground and embody the lessons I received. This inspired me to study psychedelic integration therapy to support others on their paths. My mission is to help individuals ground and clarify their journeys with humility and love, serving as a guide and elder sister for those navigating these transformative experiences.
Thank you for allowing me to share my story. I hope to support you in your unique journey of healing and growth.
